The Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) recently partnered with one of the shelters in Texas to bring 21 cats on a cross-country trip to be placed and sheltered right here in Arlington! With all of the storms and flooding, some of the shelters in Texas were in need of help and AWLA stepped right up and sprang into action.
Hollie Dickman with AWLA sent over the below introduction to one of these cats, hoping to find their FURever home and family!
"Meet Tank! Tank is a 4-year-old male cat and the most playful guy I have had the pleasure of meeting in a long time! I hung out with him for a little bit today for one of our Zoomie event video sessions, giving him some treats and playing with the wand toy. He has one waiting just outside his kennel because he loves them so much... Tank was having a hard time keeping both eyes open, so here he is giving you a wink as he settles in for nap time. I can't wait to visit him next week (unless a lucky family meets him by then) and he'll share another update."
